Simple and unfussy, the TomTom Start will get you from A to B with the minimum of setting up. It's difficult to get much simpler so this would be a good choice if you are new to using a satnav. It does have a small screen though.

Excellent lightweight wrist unit for runners, cyclists and walkers. More suited to training than finding your way around - this is still an impressive unit from Garmin.

This is a great entry level Sat Nav, slimline build and easy to hold in your hand. Good satellite reception, software and excellent value for money make this one to put on your wishlist.
